    Description

    Responsibilities:

    1. Financial Management:

    • Oversee the day-to-day financial operations of the organization.
    • Prepare and manage budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
    • Monitor and analyze financial performance against budget.

    2. Accounting and Reporting:

    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
    • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations

    3. Grant Management:

    • Assist in the preparation of grant proposals and budgets.
    • Monitor and report on financial aspects of grant-funded projects.
    • Coordinate with program managers to ensure proper financial documentation.

    4. Audit and Compliance:

    • Facilitate annual audits and liaise with external auditors.
    • Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations.
    • Implement and maintain effective internal controls.

    5. Cash Flow Management:

    • Manage cash flow to meet the organization's operational needs.
    • Forecast and track cash flow trends.
    • Implement strategies to optimize cash holdings.

    6. Financial Planning:

    • Collaborate with senior management in financial planning and decision-making.
    • Provide financial insights and recommendations for strategic planning.

    Requirements:

    1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

    2. Proven experience as a Finance Executive or in a similar role.

    3. Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and grant management.

    4. Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.

    5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

    6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

    7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    8. Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
