- Responsible for planning and supervising the structural works of building, and infrastructure construction and overseeing all site-related matters regarding day-to-day activities.
- Coordinates daily construction activities at the worksite to meet the project's progress and quality goals.
- Supervising contractors and workers to complete the project within the given budget and time frame.
- Control and update the issuance of construction drawings to all team members and sub-contractors during the progress of work.
- Interpret, resolve, and guide all team members and sub-contractors regarding any questions arising from drawing inconsistency and/ or inadequate information.
- Site documentation includes progress reports/inspection/ testing/ daily records/minutes & etc. drawing control.
- Compliance with the enforcement of QA & QC Standard Operation Procedure & Sub-Con agreement
- Ensure that the on-site work is completed according to the drawings, technical specifications, and Method Statements.
- Consult with site staff on current activities on-site, such as inspections, audits, and site visits. Collaboration with other departments, consultants and the client are all part of this.
- Prepare regular updates on the site's progress and site reports and submit them in a timely manner.
- Cascade information about any site issues to the relevant person, and, if necessary, act within your duties to resolve these issues.
- Identify the cause of site problems and discuss with the consultant to formulate practical solutions for implementation on site.
- Carry out any other job tasks/assignments as and when requested by Senior Management, Department Head or direct superior.
- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree or Professional Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
- Preferrable 2-4 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Required skills: MS Office, AutoCAD.
- Positive attitude with high professionalism and integrity, ability to work in shifts, under pressure, and multi-tasking.
- Good team player and willing to work at the Project Site.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving, decision making and conflict-resolution skills.
- Willing to travel and work full time on site.
- Possess communication skills to interact with people at all levels.
- Willing to be relocated.
