We are looking for a Specialist in Geomechanics/Pore Pressure with a strong background in Geophysics to join our clients team in Kuala Lumpur. As a key member of our geosciences team, your responsibilities will include:

Conducting geomechanical and pore pressure studies to assess reservoir behaviour.

Integrating geophysical data to understand subsurface rock mechanics. Collaborating with drilling and reservoir engineering teams to optimize well planning. Providing geomechanical support for drilling and completions operations. Background Experience:

8-20 years of experience in geomechanics, with a focus on geophysics applications.

Proven experience in assessing and mitigating drilling-related geomechanics challenges. Strong proficiency in geophysical interpretation and modelling. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

As a Specialist in Geomechanics/Pore Pressure, your long-term goals would involve contributing to the advancement of geomechanics practices within the company. This includes leading research initiatives, developing best practices, and playing a pivotal role in optimizing wellbore stability and reservoir management strategies.
