    Imagine a future where you play a key role in making sure our cable assets globally are in good condition and maintained efficiently

    Join us in this role where you'll define the scope for bathymetric surveys around our cable assets. You'll drive the assessment of our inspection data from our subsea cable inspections and you'll be providing the recommendations for any potential remediation. You'll also play a key role in driving forward our digital journey on how to utilise the newest inspection and data technology in the industry and also support any AI utilisations.

    You'll be part of Cable team where you, together with your colleagues, will operate and maintain subsea cables across our global fleet. In our team, we're overall responsible in ensuring the right quality and scoping technically, related to tenders, subsea inspections, bathymetric surveys, and potential cable repairs, both onshore and offshore. As key part of our role, we cooperate closely with important internal and external stakeholders, such as Asset Management, Engineering, Procurement, Partners, and local authorities.

    You'll play an important role in:

    • assessments of inspection data from visual subsea cable inspections and supporting the assessment of bathymetric survey results
    • integrity reporting to both internal and external stakeholders
    • risk assessment of any potential findings, incl. scoping of the correction remediation
    • driving and supporting the setup of the correct severity modelling and failure mode descriptions.

    To succeed in the role, you:

    • hold a degree or equivalent experience within mechanical engineering, marine engineering, wind energy, or similar
    • have strong, intercultural communication skills in English
    • are a team player, self-starting, self-driven, and highly motivated
    • have experience working in a large and complex organisation with many different stakeholders and contributors
    • understand the value of digitalisation and automation of work to be able to grow.
