    Description
    Job Responsibility

    • Be responsible for proper maintenance of all company vehicles and maintenance of equipment and tools, including the vehicle workshop / garage.
    • Responsible to diagnose problems in vehicle / equipment or verification of diagnose done by third parties.
    • Responsible for verification of vehicle parts ordering, in conjunction with Vehicle Maintenance Supervisor.
    • Developing work schedule for mechanics.
    • Provide guidance, coaching and train mechanics on areas that requires improvement to meet technical skill demands and ensuring quality workmanship.
    • Provide suggestions on equipment and tools required for day-to-day work execution to Supervisors and Management for approval.
    • Ensure proper and safe usage of tools and equipment.
    • Work as mechanic when needed, or as time will allow. Including mechanical and electrical work, tune-ups, engine overhauls, repairs and replaces clutches, brakes, etc. E.g. air Cond maintenance of vehicle, lubrication, oil replacement.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies, relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.

    Job Requirements

    • Minimum SPM/SKM and 3 yearsâ experience in relevant field
    • Excellent hands-on skills with eye for details
    • Ability to work independently.
    • Positive attitude and responsible character.
    • Pleasant personality with focus on excellence in customer service.
    • Prior working experience will be an added advantage.
    • Self-starter with good communication and interpersonal skill.
    • Possess self-confidence and be able to actively interact with all relevant parties..
    • Have a valid driving license & GDL.
    • Experience in building and managing a team of mechanics.
    • Ability to diagnose problems and to make judgments as to the type of repair needed, including problems existing from the improper or lack of preventive maintenance.
    • Comprehensive knowledge of the repair and maintenance of light to heavy trucks and maintenance tools.
    • Knowledge of standard practices and equipment of the diesel trucks and vehicles.
