Description

Compile corporate tax computations and tax returns.
* Generate income tax forms and relevant documentation.
* Ensure timely submission of all compliance materials to the Inland Revenue Board (IRB).
* Address any ad hoc information requests promptly.
* Conduct research and collaborate with team members on diverse tax issues.
* Uphold the Company's values, competencies, Internal Control over Financial Reporting (ICFR), and Target Operating Model (TOM).
* Adhere strictly to Company policies, tax procedures, compliance standards, global protocols, regional business needs, statutory regulations, and SOX requirements to mitigate liability and risk.
* Collaborate with Group Internal Audit and Controls and Compliance personnel to fortify internal controls and governance processes.
* Stay updated on tax laws, identifying and integrating the latest regulatory changes into tax computations.
* Assume responsibility for all facets of service delivery within the regional process, including quality, efficiency, effectiveness, internal controls, and risk management.
* Review knowledge training materials before transitioning and ensure a seamless transition process.

Stakeholder Management:
* Submit tax computations to Opco for review.
* Cultivate relationships with Opco and External Advisors.

Continuous Improvements:
* Actively seek out opportunities for process enhancements and faster turnaround times.
* Stay updated on technical pronouncements and changes in tax laws.

Profile

Degree in Finance & Accounting or related field with relevant mix of qualification and
experience
* Minimum 3 years in public practice.
* CTA qualified or substantial relevant work experience gained within tax field
* Practical knowledge of tax compliance for international regions
