- Create technical solutions and new security tools to help mitigate security vulnerabilities.
- Review, develop and implement security measures for the protection of computer systems, network, and applications.
- Ensure that systems and software are updated with the latest security patches and updates to fix known vulnerabilities.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including IT, DevOps, and other software developers to ensure seamless integration of updates without disrupting operations.
- Coordinate and execute the deployment of security patches, updates, and fixes across various platforms and devices.
- Installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining operating systems, application software and system management tools
- Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
- Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution and support for vulnerability scans/audit.
- Provide 2nd and 3rd level support
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Good IT Security Knowledge.
- Proven experience in software update management, patch deployment, or a related security role.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and Office products.
- Strong understanding of software vulnerabilities, security protocols, and patch management frameworks.
- Proficiency in collaborating with vendors and internal stakeholders
- Good written and spoken English.
- Pleasure in dealing with people, strong communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- 2+ years' experience in IT Cyber Security.
- Familiar with hacking and cyber-crime trend and development.
