    Description

    Job Description:

    • We are seeking a skilled AS400 Developer with a strong background in Banking projects, specifically Collections.
    • The ideal candidate will have expertise in AS400, with a focus on SDLC, and possess proficiency in either COBOL or RPG programming languages.

    Key Requirements:

    Mandatory Skills:

    AS400:
    Proven experience and expertise in AS400 development.


    • COBOL or

    RPG:
    Strong proficiency in either COBOL or RPG programming languages.

    Nice-to-Have Skills:


    • CACS: Familiarity with CACS (Consumer Automated Collections System) is a plus.
    • Combination of COBOL &

    RPG:
    Ability to work with a combination of COBOL and RPG programming languages.


    Experience:

    • Prior experience in Banking projects, specifically in Collections.
    • Proficient in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes.

    Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement AS400 solutions for Banking Collections.
    • Utilize programming skills in COBOL or RPG to enhance and maintain existing systems.
    • Work closely with business analysts to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
    • Participate in all phases of the SDLC, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality software solutions.
    • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and issues.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
    • Proven experience as an AS400 Developer in Banking, with a focus on Collections.
    • Strong programming skills in either COBOL or RPG.
    • Familiarity with CACS is a plus.
    • Excellent understanding of SDLC processes.
