    Description

    To assist in setting the strategic direction for Automatic Fare Collection (AFC) maintenance in order to achieve the Organization annual KPls and Objectives. To lead the AFC Software Maintenance Section i.e. software and computer system maintenance in line with organization mission and vision.

    Responsibilities

    • Prepare execution of software and computer system maintenance activities to ensure system security and service standards are met.
    • Provide and review availability of resources i.e. manpower, spares and materials required for the software and computer system maintenance to ensure maintenance can be carried out in accordance with the Maintenance Plan that would successfully drive the corporate objectives.
    • Manage software operations and maintenance input for related ticketing capital and improvement projects to ensure ticketing and integration requirement of the organization is met.
    • Ensure AFC equipment failure recording and monitoring are carried out to achieve the key performance indicator targets set for the AFC equipment.
    • Ensure compliance to policies and procedures by the AFC personnel for an effective and controlled operations and maintenance of the ticketing system.
    • Propose and prepare policies and procedures for the AFC Software Maintenance Section activities for improvement purposes.

    Requirements

    • Degree in Computer Engineering
    • Minimum 4 years of work experience in software maintenance OR development environment Minimum 3 years experience in railway or transportation industry.
    • Analytical, good writing and communication skills
    • Good in Microsoft Excel and Words
