    We are currently looking for a Data Analyst, Finance Operations to join our team.     This position will be located at Kuala Lumpur Sentral (Menara 1 Sentral) and it is easy to get to by public transportation as it is located at the heart of Kuala Lumpur.     Main Responsibilities

    • Provide timely, relevant and accurate reporting and analysis of the results of the WSM's financial performance against historical, budgeted, forecasted and strategic planning results to facilitate decision-making toward the achievement of the budget and strategic plan.
    • Maintain and develop various financial models using BI tools (Tableau, Power BI etc.) to ensure quality, accuracy and focused analytic review.
    • Support in finance process improvement, internal controls and risk management i.e. to share best practices and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the Finance team.
    • Support business in pursuit financial targets through in-depth analysis and sharing

    financial knowledge.
    • Provide deep finance subject matter expertise and knowledge to the project team, for specific finance area/process, identify risks, and to enable the successful assessment or implementation of ERP solution.
    • Perform ad-hoc queries and supports from various counterparts when needed.
    • Assisting the WSM Vice President Finance in other designated or non-routine tasks.

    Accountabilities

    • Financial analysis of WSM as delegated, including the processes and procedures involved for the improvement as delegated.

    Qualifications

    • Possessed a Bachelor Degree in Data Science, Applied Math , Statistics or equivalent
    • Minimum 5 -7 years working experience in a related field.
    • Exposure in Data Tools (Tableau, Power BI)
    • Preferable someone with Shared Service background. Candidate from Maritime industry will be an advantage.
    • Good command of English is a must.
