    One of the key liaison person in terms of interactions with parties external to the Company, including internal and external auditors, Bank Negara officials and Regional Office representatives. The candidate is expected to have demonstrated proven leadership abilities, good communication skills and strong networking ability to positively influence counterparties.

    •Major internal stakeholders will be Finance Director, Head of Strategy and Actuarial Department

    •Business Partner to the organisation on IFRS17 related topics

    •Group Stakeholders will include Group Finance, Group Strategy

    Financial reporting and management accounting

  • Manage the reporting function, ensuring that key results are accurately produced on a timely basis.
  • Analytics of results are expected and key messages and trends are thus crucial in assisting the management to make key business decisions.
  • Firm understanding of the industry and Company, managing financial information to ensure that these are reliable for messaging.
  • Results are expected to be presented regularly to the Executive Committee, Board of Directors and Group Office.
  • Review and ensure accuracy of all financial information released to external parties.
  • Strategic planning

  • Assist CEO in developing key strategic direction.
  • Produce and analyse key annual KPIs, in conjunction with other divisions.
  • Presentation of annual plans to Board of Directors and Group Office.
  • Statutory and regulatory reporting

  • Key liaison person with external auditor, managing the annual statutory audit process.
  • Responsible for the production the annual financial statements, in its compliance with various guidelines and financial reporting standards.
  • Table the annual financial statements for approval at the Board of Directors meeting.
