    Job Description:

    The Manufacturing Engineer Test Systems is responsible to independently find, investigate, and/or create and support innovative and cost-effective technology solutions required to manufacture existing and new products. This includes the creation and development of manufacturing test solutions for new and existing product technologies. These activities are performed in line with company strategy, and in conformity to relevant industrial and safety standards.

    QHSE Responsibilities:

    • Understand and follow the QHSE management system.
    • Assist your Department in achieving company's, and personal QHSE objectives.
    • Demonstrate an awareness of QHSE Risk.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Evaluates and benchmarks best-in-class manufacturing test techniques for client and OEM products.
    • Establishes pilot testing and scale up plan for release to full volume production.
    • Works with Manufacturing and Engineering Teams, and other stakeholders during design and validation process.
    • Ensures that manufacturing technology solutions achieve the required quality levels, reliability and consistency.
    • Support production by answering support ticket and supporting maintenance of the testers, when required.
    • Drives continuous improvement projects on manufacturing test processes.

    Authority:

    • Take Manufacturing Testers into production, or remove from production, if an issue is found.

    Education, and experience:

    • Bachelors in Industrial, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering or equivalent combination of higher degree and experience
    • Entry level position with a listed technical degree and strong interest in manufacturing.
    • Otherwise, a significant background is required in a technical assignment in a manufacturing environment - including machine shop, industrial assembly plant, or other engineered products manufacturing environment.
