    Job Summary

    To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Test Development Staff Engineer located in Batu Kawan, Penang.

    What a typical day looks like:

  • Test Strategy Definition / Development.
  • Perform test coverage analysis, Design for Test analysis.
  • Advice PCB layout engineers on accessibility and testability of test points during design phases.
  • Coordinate vendors for test PCB fabrication & layout.
  • Manufacturing test support for new product design & introduction.
  • Test program development.
  • Test system/fixture design, troubleshooting and implementation.
  • Coordinate vendors for test systems/fixtures fabrication.
  • Perform design for test reviews as part of a product design team.
  • Perform statistical analysis for testers (GR&R / Process Capability).
  • Work as a key member of a multi-disciplinary product development team.

    • Here is some of what you'll need:

  • Experience in Dft /Test coverage studies.
  • Ability to come up with test strategies and methodologies.
  • Proficient in Electrical test design or proficient in test software Dev or both.
  • Knowledge in Acoustical measurements & audio testing methodologies.
  • Knowledge in RF measurements and testing – specifically Bluetooth & WIFI.
  • Experience in JTAG, ISP, I2C flashing/programming.
  • Knowledge in Boundary Scan testing.
  • Experience in leading projects and working with suppliers.
  • Experience in generating test solutions in Lab View and Test Stand
  • Strong engineering and applied knowledge in sampling theory, and electrical measurements.
  • Experience in maintaining and operating Flying Probe tester.
  • Experience in maintaining and operating the Agilent 3070.
  • Electrical fixture design experience to interface products to testers.
  • Excellent team dynamics and communication at the technical and business levels.
  • Possess good analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong knowledge of analog/digital circuit design fundamentals.
  • Knowledge in GR&R and other statistical measurement tools is an added advantage.
  • International travel will be required.

    • The experience we're looking to add to our team:

  • Requires a Bachelor's Degree of Science in an Engineering discipline, preferably Electrical Engineering, Mechatronic, Computer Engineering or Software Engineering.
  • Requires minimum 5-6 years of experience in test engineering with strong emphasis on test development & design experience.
