    About the Role

    The position is responsible in the product development process at the same time continue to support the department and ensure timely and efficient launch of new product and product enhancement for Partnership Distribution. Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Conduct market research, data analysis, product competitiveness study and collect customer & distributor feedback to identify trends, needs and gaps.
  • Lead the product ideation process and share the product idea and buy in from Partnership Distribution.
  • Lead the sharing and present the product ideas with PBB, to get buy in and approval from Public Bank on product to be developed. This includes working on indicative premium with Actuarial, competitor's analysis, and product position and strategy and others.
  • Responsible of reviewing product documents which includes product specs, contract, PDS, marketing material and etc. To provide support to staff in obtaining internal approval before sharing with PBB.
  • Responsible of coordinating with system users on the product requirement, to prepare contract template and perform UAT.
  • Provide support to Partnership Distribution for integrated marketing campaign and promotion activities.
  • Conduct Train-the-trainer session.
  • Provide guidance to staff on various area.
  • Work in special projects, for example, online channel and others.
  • Perform ad-hoc tasks assigned.
  • Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Education – Degree in Actuarial Science (highly preferred), Business Administration or Marketing.
  • Experience – Preferably with minimum 5 years of relevant working experience, specifically in insurance product development, partnership development, and ideally in a high growth business environment.
  • Other skills – Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia (both written and spoken); proficient in Microsoft Office applications; good presentation skill and interpersonal skill; possess good problem solving and analytical skills.
