    JOB SCOPE

    Role : Digital Sales Representative

    The Digital Sales Representative is a direct quota carrying role that focuses on a specific, Enterprise or SMB, segment of customers. The assignment may be to a set of end user customers, a specific set of channel partners, or a particular technology. The Digital Sales Representative will routinely work digital tools and resources to manage high velocity of opportunities. The role is expected to sell all of HPE Financial Services capabilities within assigned accounts/territory while working on fast paced tactical engagements.

    Responsibilities

    • Leverage analytics generated leads to build strong pipeline and close opportunities across assigned customer or partner territory.
    • Use digital and social selling techniques to prospect, qualify, propose and close HPE Financial Services transactions.
    • Use internal and external digital tools to help build relationships quickly in a virtual environment.
    • Identify and pass deals uncovered that are outside the scope of the Digital Sales Representative role quickly to the appropriate HPE Financial Services seller.
    • Effectively use of all HPEFS digital CRM platforms (Salesforce, Partner Connection etc.) to actively manage open pipeline of opportunities and accurately forecast business results.
    • Actively engage with all cross functional teams within the organization (GTM Execution, Portfolio, Service Excellence etc.) to help increase successful customer engagement as an end-to-end team.
    • Responsible for meeting/exceeding quota based on regional guidelines.
    • Thorough understanding of all HPE Financial Services capabilities.

    Job Requirements

    • 0-3 years sales experience.
    • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain executive relationships, including CxO, within large enterprises.
    • Bachelors degree in IT or business related field required.
    • Fluent in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.).
    • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships virtually.
    • Successful negotiation and consultative skills.
    • Experience with digital tools preferred (Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Sales Enablement Platforms, Microsoft Teams, Slack, Zoom etc.).

    Knowledge and Skills

    • Exceptional digital acumen to leverage digital applications and tools to perform tasks efficiently as required.
    • Candidates who are goal-oriented and can thrive in an independent work environment.
    • Skilled in digital research skills to uncover information that can help generate customer insights to improve customer engagements.
    • Well versed in digital and social selling skills to uncover potential leads in target accounts.
    • Comfortable working in a virtual environment using digital tools and resources to perform all sales responsibilities.
    • Exceptional virtual and in-person presentation skills to help articulate and make sense of complex solutions.
