    Description
    Instructional Designer OVERVIEW Instructional designer and eLearning developer. To develop a variety of industry-leading, future-thinking learning solutions, spanning a range of media to design impactful and effective multi-media learning solutions. Working collaboratively with the change management team, project team and key stakeholders to ensure solutions meet the needs of the business. Your role as a Developer is to bring to life the assets our Change management team created to build high-quality, creative and functional eLearning modules using the Articulate360 suite with a depth of experience using Storyline and Rise. Core Responsibilities
  • Manages several complex curricula development projects simultaneously and authors effective learning objectives. Prioritizes and manages projects to completion and meet desired milestones.
  • Designs and develops learning interventions in a variety of modalities (self-directed, facilitator-led, or blended).
  • Collaborates with L&D and Talent Management, People Business Partners and business stakeholders across the organization to deliver and consult on learning experiences.
  • Conducts learning interventions and discovery calls and assists in identifying learning goals and writing learning objectives.
  • Build trust and credibility with stakeholders and business managers to influence scope of learning programs and gain buy-in on design approach.
  • Consults with cross-functional partners, external vendors and learning leaders on best-practice instructional design solutions.
  • Selects the most appropriate instructional strategies and content approach to meet the demands of the learning objectives and audience. Analyzes, selects, and/or adapts existing content assets to incorporate into learning programs.
  • Writes and edits content for learning materials including, but not limited to, playbooks, PPT slide presentations, job aids, workbooks, virtual classroom facilitator guides, videos and interactive eLearning modules as needed.
  • Participate in the ongoing review of programs within the learning portfolio and ensure that experiences are updated as needed. Identifies content gaps and partner with broader L&D team and cross-functional partners to realize the design vision, including development of creative briefs to guide production of supporting material.
  • Develops instructional design modalities for a wide-range of learners including but not limited to: highly technical roles, C-suite leadership, localized and international audiences and accessible education/content.
  • Creates reliable and valid learner evaluation tools to gauge knowledge and skill transfer. Devises modes of assessment, such as quizzes or stand-and-deliver experiences, to measure the effectiveness of learning initiatives.

  • Qualifications
  • Shows experience in digital media development design using Articulate Rise, Articulate Storyline, Camtasia, etc. with the ability to be creative and innovative, maximising the opportunities to create a great learning experience
  • Experience utilising advanced Storyline functionality and creating simulations (show me, let me).
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other designers and key business stakeholders to influence thinking to maximise the opportunities available across the media
  • Ability to produce material adopting a blended approach, virtual learning, distance learning and other supporting solutions
  • Previous learning design experience is essential, and the ability to work within a large-scale Corporate organisation
