    As a Content Creator â Writer, you will be accountable to research and author various types of content, including thought leadership pieces, research pieces, blogs, and video scripts, aligned with our program objectives.

    As a Content Creator â Writer at SMG, this is what you will do:

    • Strategize and draft compelling email copy, attend research meetings with the insights team, and utilize findings to craft insightful content
    • Ensure consistency in messaging across all content formats by adhering to brand templates and guidelines
    • Optimize content for search engine optimization (SEO) and social media channels to enhance visibility and engagement
    • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that all project deliverables are met
    • Engage with subject matter experts and stakeholders to accurately represent products and services in content, striving to become a subject matter expert over time
    • Regularly contribute creative ideas and participate in ideation sessions to enhance project and program developments within the Marketing Team
    • Monitor digital trends and incorporate relevant insights into content strategies to ensure effectiveness and relevance
    • Collaborate cross-functionally to create personalized RFPs for clients/prospects when needed

    You are a perfect match for the role if you have:

    • Bachelorâs degree (Journalism, English, Writing, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred)
    • Proven experience in content creation and strategy, ideally within a similar role.
    • Experience writing research papers (can include college papers)
    • Superb storytelling abilities with a strong grasp of effective writing, basic proofreading, and AP style
    • Passionate about communications, digital trends, and social media
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Highly collaborative nature and proven ability to work well within a team
    • Strong time management and organizational skills, with meticulous attention to detail
    • Active engagement with social media and a keen ability to translate insights into impactful
