    About the role

    As a Creative Director you have a background in design, video production and animation. You are comfortable collaborating directly with other teams, have an acute attention to detail, and are passionate about beautiful, functional creative that clearly communicates a message. The ideal candidate will have experience managing a team across both creative and production tasks. You will demonstrate the ability to personally execute high fidelity, beautiful creative that answer a brief and confidently present the work to the executive
    team. We are an efficient team that creates quality work on tight timelines, so attention to detail, strong time management skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects with ease are a must. Sound like you? Lets get acquainted

    Responsibilities

    • Provide leadership to the Design, Video and Animation Team.
    • Set and communicate a clear creative direction, collaborating with the Production
    • Team to ensure projects are being executed on time.
    • Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing creative team across the globe, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
    • Conduct regular performance reviews, offer constructive feedback, and identify opportunities for professional development.
    • Develop and implement creative strategies that align with overall brand objectives and resonate with target audiences.
    • Oversee the entire creative process, from concept development to execution, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of projects.
    • Monitor project budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure efficient and effective project management.
    • Uphold and evolve the brand identity across all creative assets and campaigns.
    • Ensure that creative outputs consistently reflect the brand's values, messaging, and visual identity.
    • Work closely with the Chief Creative Officer to plan, align and concept new ideas, products and projects.

    Requirements

    • Proven experience as a Creative Director or in a similar creative leadership role.
    • Strong portfolio showcasing creative work, and creative thinking across various platforms and mediums.
    • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong project management and organisational skills.
    • You'll need to have strong English communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with teams and colleagues around the world (you need to have a level of English equal to or higher than B2)
    • You can successfully ideate and pitch your ideas in a brief but effective format
    • You can produce concepts from scratch and enhance ideas provided by leadership and colleagues
    • Strong understanding of web design principles, UX/UI, and responsive design
    • Strong understanding of design principles in every medium
    • Experience working in Video Productions and content creation
    • You are humble and collaborative to listen and learn from clients and teammates
    • You know how to maintain a positive vibe and inspire people to get things done while working remotely
    • Adept in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma and experience collaborating in Google Slides, Google Docs, and Slack

    Other details

    • Should be a local or based in Malaysia
    • Full time role: 40 hours/week
    • Permanent / Office based (remote based until we open our office in KL).
    • Will report directly to the Chief Creative Officer
    • Expansion role
