    The Job

    You will be responsible for :

    • Managing the full spectrum of financial accounting and reporting.
    • Driving accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end closing.
    • Ensuring timely reporting of all monthly financial information.
    • Managing internal and external audit requirements to ensure timely completion of annual statutory audits.
    • Ensuring compliance with all legislative tax and financial reporting requirements.
    • Manage accounting functions, including GL updating, monthly closing, audit, and taxation.
    • Accurately record financial transactions related to donations and payments.
    • Conduct bank reconciliations and other assigned reconciliations.
    • Prepare Monthly Payroll and ensure timely payment of salaries/allowances.
    • Assist in budget preparation and contribute to group cash flow management.
    • Maintain well-organized and up-to-date documentation.
    • Liaise with Auditors and Tax Agents when required.
    • Perform daily operational duties and assist in ad-hoc assignments.
    • Fulfill any ad-hoc duties assigned by superiors.

    The Profile

    Candidate Requirements:

    • Candidate must possess at least Diploma/LCCI/CAT or be part qualified ACCA/CIMA or hold a Professional Degree in Accounting.
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in the accounting profession; experience in an NGO would be an added advantage.
    • Knowledge and familiarity with accounting software will be an added advantage.
    • Proficient in MS Excel & Word Is essential.
    • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
