    Responsibilities:

    Principal Role:

  • Realization of introduction and services work on standard products as well as systems by in-country and eventually foreign countries
  • Realize Repair

  • Analyze mistakes independently. Identify needed spare parts, agree and arrange on order with customers.
  • Carry out repairs (e.g. mechanics, electronics, hydraulics, control technology, pneumatics.)
  • In case of escalation agree on interim solutions with in-house service and management and discuss with customer.
  • Agree on solutions with experts from own area and RSC Singapore.
  • Provide documentation of carried out service application.
  • Implementation

  • Carry out implementation, in case of problems agree with management or In-house service and discuss and take decisions on further procedure.
  • Carry out machine take over with end customers, if necessary carry out customer programs and carry out in vote with management or in-house service special adaptations.
  • Carry out customer installation with security instruction.
  • Provide documentation about introduction, installation feedback for quality management.
  • Realize service training need for customers and inform Trumpf in-house service.
  • Preventive Servicing

  • Carry out preventing servicing due to given servicing list.
  • Carry out servicing after complexity.
  • Advice customers about necessary repair point, if necessary agree on spare parts with customer and order them. Carry out further actions. Document servicing.
  • Provide servicing check list, actualize and adapt it.
  • Rebuilding and Retrofitting
  • Carry out rebuilding's and retrofitting.
  • Carry out Service-Updates and data protections.
  • Consult customers concerning technical innovations.
  • Product Care

  • Document technical weak spots in additional report. Encourage improvements and support the process.
  • Staff management

  • Train new employees, recognize training needs and pass on to duties
  • If necessary carry out operator and servicing training.
  • Recognize need in aid or devices and support realization.
  • Provide rebuilding instructions and training documents, update and if necessary adjust them.
  • Carry out production assistance with the customer (e.g. find out degree of efficiency)
  • Requirements:

  • A team-player, with a goal-driven spirit, with an optimistic and persistent attitude, and service experience in handling day to day activities of Service department.
  • It is essential that you have worked in an MNC business, ideally within a matrix structure.
  • Ability to work under pressure and time constraints.
  • Flexibility to travel (inside Asia or Germany HQ).
  • At least 3 years work experience in similar environment/related field will be an added advantage.
  • A professional Engineering qualification in Mechanical/Mechantronic/Electrical Engineering, as Bachelor's Degree or Polytechnic Diploma or equivalent
  • Experienced user of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, IE) and other Windows Based programming tools (QuickFlow; TruControl)
  • Good command of English - both spoken and written. Added advantage for knowledge of German language.
