    As the Manager, Local Risk & Fraud, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and leading the best Fraud team in the industry. Your expertise in Fraud will make you the local point of contact for your market, responsible for handling escalations and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. Your mission is to protect our customers and the company from fraudulent activities by investigating suspicious behavior, staying ahead of industry trends, and implementing proactive measures. This role serves as the bridge between local operations and data science/analytics teams, ensuring the enhancement of customer experiences and the fortification of our Fraud identification infrastructure.

    Responsibilities:

    • Fraud Prevention Leadership:
      • Lead the development and management of a top-tier Fraud team, setting high standards for vigilance and professionalism in fraud prevention.
    • Escalation Resolution:
      • Serve as the primary point of contact for market escalations related to fraud.
      • Handle each case with meticulous care and attention.
    • Investigative Expertise:
      • Utilize your investigative skills to review and assess suspicious activities of various kinds.
      • Determine appropriate actions to mitigate risks.
    • Trend Analysis:
      • Stay current with industry trends and use your analytical skill set to proactively identify emerging fraud trends.
      • Implement measures to safeguard our customers and the company.
    • Cross-functional Collaboration:
      • Act as a liaison between local operations and data scientist/analytics teams.
      • Identify and execute opportunities to enhance both customer experiences and our Fraud identification infrastructure.
    • Risk Identification:
      • Identify risk factors and trends in potentially fraudulent activities.
      • Develop trend reports and key indicators to serve as early warning risk signals in local markets.
    • Business Reviews:
      • Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual business reviews for the Fraud Operations team, contributing insights and recommendations.
    • Process Improvement:
      • Identify gaps in existing systems, policies, and strategies related to fraud prevention.
      • Collaborate with stakeholders to recommend enhancements and process improvements.
    • Compliance:
      • Ensure that all work is conducted by established procedures and standards, adhering to regulatory requirements.

    Requirement:

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
    • A minimum of three years experience in fraud operations within the payments or e-commerce space
    • Knowledge of SQL is very desirable
    • Be a Self-starter
