    The day beings early for a field service engineer, either on an offshore platform or onshore industrial facilities. The morning routine involves reviewing the day's schedule, checking equipment, and ensuring that all necessary tools and safety gear are on hand. Collaborates with the on-site maintenance team to discuss any recent issues and gather valuable information about the turbine's performance. The hands-on maintenance activities begin with by using specialized tooling to disassemble components, inspecting each part for signs of wear or damage. Precision is key when reassembly of parts, the FSE controls the quality of the work by going through check sheets and measurements in accordance with the drawings and standards. The FSE either attends a customer discussion either on mid-day to go through the updates on the work status and the planning for the next day. As the day winds down, the FSE dedicates time to document the day's activities. This includes logging inspection details, maintenance tasks performed, and any recommendations for future upgrades or repairs. Clear and detailed reports are crucial for both the client and the home office.

    As a field service engineer, each day is a dynamic mix of problem-solving, hands-on work, and collaboration, ensuring the seamless operation of critical industrial equipment.

    How You'll Make an Impact

    a representative of the Siemens Energy, you will support and supervise our clients and/or 3rd-party workforce during unit installations, troubleshooting, execution of scheduled and unscheduled overhauls, repairs, modifications, and upgrades; at the levels established by management.

    ●To review and inspect the required standard and special tooling and equipment during any on-site outages in the preparation phase.

    ●To arrange, coordinate, and control material and parts in terms of handling, logistics, internal resources, and subcontractor resource activities.

    ●To prepare daily shift activities to ensure clean shift handover and transitions with peers, lead them, and communicate clearly on job requirements to other personnel.

    ●To ensure timely completion of tasks in accordance with required specifications and quality, incl. documentation, timely submission of check sheets, test procedures, spare parts lists, daily shift activities, status reports, and field reports.

    ●To actively support outage preparation activities with project engineers, project managers, tooling facilities engineers, outage managers, HSE professionals and customers as required.

    ●To actively implement creative problem solving regarding technical issues within your area of responsibility, in alignment with Site and Project Management and applicable QHSE standards as well as to actively support the continuous improvement of tools, equipment, and technical processes for Siemens Energy outage executions.

    ●To ensure work carried out by Siemens Energy, client and/or third-party personnel on-site are in accordance with the required HSE standards, including Last Minute Risk Assessments, appropriate PPE, and tooling.

    ●Possess a good understanding of programmable logic control either OEM or nonOEM to assist in troubleshooting and provide startup support for the customer.

    ●You will be cross train in multiple disciplinary and expose to a wide range of service products either OEM/ non-OEM such as small to medium gas turbine, compressors, and steam turbines. In order to drive service flexibility and value added service to our customers.

    What You Bring

    ●Bachelor's degree in engineering, specifically with Electrical or Mechanical background and at least 3 years hands-on working experience as mechanical/electrical fitter or engineer. Working experience in rotating equipment in Oil and Gas Upstream / Downstream, Petrochemical or Power Generation industry is an advantage. Graduates, or vocationally trained candidates with a sufficient level of working experience, are encouraged to apply as well.

    ●Profound experience with relevant manual techniques, handling of manual and power tools, measuring equipment, rigging, and lifting equipment, and other equipment for mechanical disassembly and assembly of machinery.

    ●Possess the ability to read, understand, and independently work on drawings, specifications, and unit conversions in accordance with international codes and standards.

    ●Able to communicate fluently in English, both verbal and written. Command of further languages is an advantage.

    ●Possess an adequate level of digital literacy. The candidate must be a confident user of relevant IT applicationssuch as Microsoft Office.

    ●Possess a pro-active, problem-solving, and ready-to-work attitude as well as the readiness to take on additional tasks to improve the status quo if needed.

    ●Be a creative, lifelong learner able to generate better solutions for technical issues at all times based on profound technical competence and personal ingenuity.

    ●Be a team player with good communication and interpersonal skills who can work both independently or with multinational groups of personnel through shift rotations and flexible hours.

    ●Possess a good understanding of HSE and Quality requirements and standards in the related field of work.

    ●Willingness to frequently travel to isolated and/or remote work locations, on & offshore, execute installation and maintenance activities under time pressure following demanding customer time schedules.

    ●Willingness to expand and diversify own capabilities into a wide range of Siemens Energy products.
