    Description

    The Food Safety Executive role requires coordinating and collaborating with APMEA Manufacturing sites and external labs to uphold the highest standards of food safety. Responsibilities include coordinating and executing technical projects, monitoring and supporting sites to stay updated with FSQ Management systems, and analyzing data for continuous improvement and compliance. Your expertise in food safety and microbiology will play a crucial role in ensuring adherence to food safety standards, incident response, risk assessment, and raw material assessments.

    Key responsibilities

  • Support deployment of region- specific food safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Conduct regular audits of Intelex to assess compliance. Follow-up for closure of non-conformances with regional, and global food standard policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address any identified non-compliance issues.
  • Conduct risk assessments to identify potential food safety hazards. Develop action plan to mitigate risks and improve overall food safety practices.
  • Provide training session to site on food safety practices, hygiene, and sanitation. Stay updated on industry trends and communicate relevant information to the team.
  • Develop and implement an incident response plan for food safety emergencies. Support Investigation and resolve food safety incident, ensuring proper documentation and records depository is up to date.
  • Collect and Analysed data related to food safety performance. Prepare and present regular report to management on food safety metrics.
  • Maintain detailed records of food safety activities, audits, and incidents in designated shared folder.
  • Able perform a wide variety of paraprofessional, technical and clerical tasks during peak workload periods or in the absence of assigned personnel.

  • Qualifications and skills

  • Bachelor's degree in food science, Microbiology, or related field.
  • 3 years of experience in food safety management.
  • Knowledge of regional food safety requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Certification in food safety (e.g., HACCP, FSSC is a plus.
