- To grow the Bancatakaful portfolio and fee-based income for AFFIN Islamic by managing the entire Bancatakaful products including new and existing for the bank within the framework and regulations approved by the Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM).
- Continuously exploring new product potential and liaise from time to time with the manufacturers (Takaful Operators) and internal stakeholders such as Distribution channels, Product Development, Audit, Risk, Shariah, IT, operations, and compliance in order to get the products approved and successfully implemented.
- Participate in formulating Bancatakaful Fee Income Target and another Financial budget related to department timely and managing performance reporting for on the fee income.
- Monitoring monthly Partnership agreement on monthly basis
- To plan and review guidelines, Distribution Agreement (D/A) and other related documents including marketing materials for all related Bancatakaful products as to ensure smooth process flow.
- Work closely within the department in undertaking tasks for Special projects of the year until complete.
- Proactively initiates, develops and maintains effective working relationship with team members and seek opportunities to promote and enhance knowledge base and proficiencies.
- To undertake ad-hoc task/assignment as and when assigned by the Bank guided by Head of Department.
- Possess recognized bachelor's degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional degrees in Islamic Finance, Banking, Management or other relevant fields.
- At least 5 years working experience in the banking industry with minimum of 5-year involvement in Bancatakaful Business.
- Strong analytical skills
- Good communication, problem solving and management skills
- Self-motivated resourceful and result oriented
- Software skills: MS Office applications
