    Description

    Position: Service Technician

    Job Type: Full Time

    5-day work week, Mon-Fri, ,

    Location: Malaysia, Penang, Batu Kawan Industrial

    Basic + Bonus + Allowance + OT

    Job Scope:

    · Install, service, maintenance, commission, troubleshoot, retrofit of chiller system.

    · Dismantle malfunctioning systems and replace worn & defective sub assembly.

    · Perform mechanical overhauls and refrigerant reclaiming.

    · Install expansion and control valves, compressor, condenser, and other refrigeration parts.

    · Perform troubleshoot, repair and maintenance on cooling systems.

    · Ensure jobs are carried out safely and in accordance with safety procedures.

    · Maintain a clean workspace and follow safety protocols.

    · Writing reports, safety regulations, and preventative maintenance plans

    · Keep record & documentation of repairs.

    · Running tests and interpreting results to make effective recommendations.

    · Communicate with clients with regards to problems in equipment and post-job reports.

    · Ad-hoc & other duties as assigned by superior.

    Criteria:

    · Possess engineering certificate.

    · Able to work independently outdoors.

    · Job required some heavy lifting.

    · Able to speak and write English.

    · Willingness to learn and adapt.

    · Minimum 1 years' experience in air-con system

    · Understanding of basic principles of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating

    · Hot work brazing experience is an advantage.

    · Domestic and International support & travelling is required.
