- Support the delivery of accounting data and financial information, accurately and in a timely manner as part of the central finance team.
- Work closely with local finance teams, business functions and acts as liaison with Global Financial Services (GFS) teams where applicable.
- Build and sustain effective relationships with the various teams through communication and collaboration.
- Monitor GFS service levels to ensure that agreed Service Level Agreements are met in terms of quality, accuracy, and timeliness.
- Participate in weekly and/or bi-weekly connects with GFS teams.
- Lead governance calls with Local Finance teams to ensure that escalations are addressed and standardization of practices across SEA practices.
- Support the monthly account closing cycle, plan and coordinate month-end activities, identify and address showstoppers, actively track closing status to ensure that deadlines are met by all parties to ensure a timely reporting submission to Global/Asia Pacific.
- SEA representative for client-to-cash (CTC) related matters (i.e., client engagement support, billing, cash application, interfirm) and actively work with various teams to finetune the CTC related processes.
- Periodically review responsibility assignment across GFS and SEA Finance teams to identify new activities under GFS Service Catalogue which can be Transitioned.
- Support GFS teams to plan and execute the transitioning of new activities, lead and coordinate the transition where required.
- Drive operational excellence and support continuous improvement of business/finance processes and/or system enhancements through technology innovation.
- Provide periodic analysis and reports for decision making – as coordinator on behalf of SEA central finance and local finance teams across SEA geographies.
- Manage any ad hoc assignments or projects which may be assigned from time to time.

- Degree and professional certification in Accounting/Finance.
- Minimum 8 years of working experience, preferably in a supervisory role.
- Advanced MS Office knowledge especially in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with SAP system is an added advantage.
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Excellent time management and ability to perform/cope under pressure in a deadline-based environment
