We are a dynamic and fast growing team that is excited about commerce, retail and payments, and the opportunity to transform these industries with data and technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the subject matter expert on local operations related to Merchant Onboarding and Transaction Monitoring
• Responsible for end-to-end AML Compliance procedures in Malaysia and monitoring a wide range of compliance risk
• Reporting and responding to incidents of non-compliance through reviews or investigations
• Recommending process and control improvements and overseeing implementation of corrective action plans
• Assist with the preparation of regulatory returns as per MAS requirement
• Provide regulatory compliance training to the local team
  
  

A successful candidate should have..

• Bachelors Degree, preferably legal or business-related
• At least three years of relevant working experience in payment companies, financial institutions, regulators, law firms, and audit firms
• Sound knowledge and understanding of local KYC requirements, Name Screening and Transaction Monitoring
• Independent worker with strong analytical skills and the ability to make sound compliance/regulatory decisions
• Strong team player to work with various internal stakeholders to effectively implement the compliance program
