    The Role

    • A Customer Support Translator who is proficient in Mandarin or Cantonese typically has a crucial role in bridging the language gap between the company and its Mandarin or Cantonese-speaking customers.
    • Provides meaning-for-meaning interpreting.
    • Follows interpreter protocols as per training, policies, and procedures.
    • Follows all policies and procedures related to information confidentiality and interpreter ethics.
    • Attends all required training.
    • Maintains confidentiality as policies.
    • Uses standard office equipment such as telephones, computers, copiers, and fax machines.
    • Uses MS Office applications such as Outlook, Word and Edge (or other internet browser).

    Ideal Profile

    • You have at least 1 year experience, ideally within a Customer Service or Helpdesk / Technical Support role.
    • You are a strong networker & relationship builder
    • You are a strong team player who can manage multiple stakeholders
    • You are adaptable and thrive in changing environments
