    Job Description

  • Manage Global Supply Planning activities (materials, components, equipment and services) for Motorola globally, > 95% North America suppliers based.
  • Leads the operation of 3rd party dropship & TMC (Trade Monitoring Center)
  • Escalation point for any critical Dropship & TMC order fulfillment for quarterly revenue, business needs.
  • Escalation point & team's representative for any issues arise associated with business related issues & ad hoc issues, eg. AP issues, DML issues.
  • Hold weekly team meetings as two way communications on business needs, business issues or ad hoc issues etc.
  • Drive the team in meeting the dropship quarterly revenue goal.
  • Review & drive the team in meeting the GSP KPIs.
  • As presenter in weekly Revenue Call on dropship quarterly revenue outlook.
  • As preparer & presenter for the team during the SLT's visit upon requests.
  • Provide guidance & solutions to the team on daily/weekly/monthly tasks.
  • Retain good relationship internal cross function team & external suppliers.
  • Support audit-related activities and ad hoc team programs if any.
  • Resolve account payable (AP) issues timely.
  • Follow up & resolve issues related to receiving issues as well as discrepancy issues (DML).
  • Handle Warranty / ERAs cases associated with the customers' returns.
  • Timely provide the latest update status for all the required reports.
  • To support any ad hoc tasks upon request.

  • Basic Requirements

  • Candidate must have at least a Bachelor's Degree in the relevant field
  • Experienced in leading and guiding a team of global suppliers or planners.
  • Able to coordinate & expedite open orders in meeting customer required dates.
  • Able to maintain good relationship & provide guidance to the suppliers should any help needed especially on MCM tool usage.
  • Willing to attend requests from OMs/PMs/Salesforce team as GSP shown as the first contact visible in the system.
  • Able to work independently with internal cross functional teams, eg, product planners, order management team, delivery management, program managers in timely manner.
  • Driven to meet of quarterly revenue target & escalate timely to the respective. -
  • Able to handle Salesforce cases from customer requests, eg. order status, delivery date etc.
  • Drive KPI measurements as assigned.
  • Flexible in working hours.
  • Willing to work in Bayan Lepas, Penang
  • To support any ad hoc tasks upon request.
