- We are seeking a detail-oriented candidate ideally with strong analytical and computational skills to join PMU, Data Analytics team.
- The team focuses on Data Analytics, which includes Basel EL & RWA analysis and forecasting to stakeholders to facilitate business decision & planning and other regulatory stress tests as required by MAS and BNM.
- The candidate also need to prepare the analysis report and monitor key metrics related to capital adequacy assessment and ICAAP as well as general provisioning under MFRS9, including execution, reporting and stakeholder management.
- The candidate is to drive for continuous process enhancements to streamline and automate the reports by using Python coding and creating dashboard by using Visualization tools such as Power BI or Qliksense.
- This role will need to support systemization initiatives by defining user-requirements and conducting UAT or regression testing as and when there is system migration or production enhancement.
- Strong analytical skills, deductive reasoning, problem solving and critical thinking skills are required to be developed during the stint.
- Good understanding of Power BI, excel, PowerPoint are a requisite and basic python is welcome.
- Able to work in a fast paced, multi-disciplinary and competitive environment.
- Background in quantitative or technical field (Actuarial, Statistics, Computer Science, Software Engineering).
- Candidate should have about 4 to 5 years of experience in Analytics and Python related would be an added advantage.
- Fluency in Excel, PowerPoint, Python or R would be required. Familiarity in at least one visualization tool such as PowerBI and Qliksense would be welcome.
- Analytical mind and can be trusted with attention to detail.
- Strong team player and understanding of Basel and credit knowledge will be an added advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, willing to learn, must be able to work in team or independently, produce result in accordance to timeline
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Language requirement: Business English moderate to high level.
