    Description

    Capital Management and Treasury Operations: Develop and implement comprehensive strategies for efficient capital utilization and optimizing cash flow.

    · Fundraising: Strategically planning the company's capital structure by identifying and evaluating diverse funding sources, negotiating favorable terms with potential investors or lenders, preparing comprehensive financial documentation, and cultivating relationships with relevant stakeholders

    · Tax Planning: analyzing tax laws and regulations to identify opportunities for minimizing tax liabilities while ensuring compliance

    · External Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise and collaborate with external parties including bankers, auditors, tax agents, legal counsel, and government authorities to ensure compliance, manage financial risks, and maintain robust relationships vital to the company's financial well-being.

    · Corporate Exercises and M&A: Lead and execute corporate exercises when necessary, evaluate potential mergers, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships, conducting thorough due diligence, and contributing to negotiations and deal structuring.

    · Business Expansion and Feasibility Studies: Prepare detailed business plans, conduct feasibility studies for business expansion initiatives, and assess new investment opportunities, analyzing financial viability and potential returns.

    · Financial Planning and Control: Develop, monitor, and control budgets, perform cash flow planning, and implement financial forecasting models to support strategic decision-making and ensure financial stability.

    · Financial Analysis and Research: Conduct comprehensive ground-work research and financial analysis for new investments, evaluate incentives, grants, and tax benefits in target geographies, contributing to informed investment decisions.

    · Accounting and Board-Level Responsibilities: Manage and oversee accounting functions, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and present financial reports to the board, offering strategic insights and recommendations.

    · Shared Services Oversight (if applicable): Able to oversee Shared Service operations, ensuring efficiency and alignment with the company's financial objectives.

    Job Requirements

    · Proficient fluency in English, capable of articulate communication.

    · Bachelor's, Professional, or Master's Degree in Finance, Accountancy, Banking, or an equivalent field.

    · Demonstrated ability to deliver compelling presentations to the board of directors and shareholders, conveying complex financial information effectively.

    · Membership in prestigious professional bodies such as MIA (Malaysian Institute of Accountants) or equivalent is preferred.

    · Highly encouraged: Previous hands-on experience in Corporate Finance encompassing Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) and Initial Public Offerings (IPOs).

    · A minimum of 5 years of extensive and relevant work experience within the related financial field is mandatory for consideration in this role.
