    Primary Objective:
  • Responsible for timely and accurate bank reconciliations for all funds' bank accounts
  • Liaison point for all internal, regulatory and fund audits
  • Liaison point for Trustees, Shariah Advisor and Tax agents
  • Ensure risk and compliance assessments are completed timely
  • Ensure projects are initiatives are completed per schedule.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Expertise in documentation processes and activities related to regulatory, audit and tax filing
  • Possess strong stakeholder management and engagement skills to be a liaison point for all regulatory matters including audit and tax
  • Lead, motivate and manage the Teams and resolve escalated issues.
  • Review and improve on policies, guidelines, work processes, operations manual/procedure, documents etc to strengthen the monitoring and controls, smoothen the operational flows or improve the business support services and alignment to the relevant Group policies and guidelines.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory, risk and compliance requirements
  • Balance resource allocation among teams based on demand and priorities
  • Continuously drive improvements and enhancements to operational efficiency.
  • Support implementation of initiatives and take the lead on the Fund Accounting/Valuation system change project. Ensure no slippage on timelines and completion of actions.
  • Ensure team members follow the standards and practices of their functional expertise.
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of Board/Committee papers and all necessary approvals are in place.
  • Provide cross support to other teams and sections within RHBAM Operations where required.
  • Help empower the team to work independently and self manage
  • Requirements Requirements:
    Diploma - Accounting or related field.

  • At least 8 years working experience in asset management or related industry
  • Must possess good accounting and tax knowledge in relating to asset management or unit trust funds
  • In-depth knowledge of MS Office and other RHBAM core systems
  • Good presentation and communication skills
  • Stakeholder management and engagement
  • Good understanding in regulatory and financial reporting understanding
