    Description
    Job Responsibility

    • Manage picking & packing operations with high efficiency or productivity, low cost, good quality (WIBI) and acceptable safety standard operation
    • Ensures that picking & packing activities are completed based on daily orders requirement in a timely manner.
    • Able to lead & motivate shift teams to achieve KPI targets (Productivity, Ship-On-Time, Fulfilment / Availability Rate)
    • Works closely with stakeholders to make sure availability of goods to be picked is at a healthy rate & render support when required
    • Provides leadership and direction to the picking & packing teams. Coaching, counseling and feedback to direct reports timely to enhance employee performance & development
    • Keeps picked products segregated, organized at assigned location prior to packing
    • Ensures quality of packing is maintained & ascertain superior methods of packing
    • Understand the systems in place, devices used & make sure high adherence of picking system processes
    • Keeps good track of picking & packing manpower schedules as well as attendance to avoid any short falls of orders
    • Emphasize & highlight problems impacting picking & packing operations. Includes log system issues in available platforms & keeping track of the subject issue till the problems are resolved with root cause identified
    • Accountable for keeping sufficient inventory of packing material, picking trays, dollies & roller cages
    • Responsible of upkeep of picking & packing equipment. Report breakdown of equipment timely & keep good maintenance records.
    • Utilizes continuous improvement mindset and assists in identifying opportunities to improve processes
    • Prepares daily, weekly, monthly updates & reports as required
    • Follows good picking practices and required work safe practices
    • Maintains a clean, sanitary and safe work area. Implement daily & weekly housekeeping activities
    • Able to gauge manpower requirement & hiring of additional workforce during seasonal or peak period
    • Responds to internal & customer queries assigned

    Job Requirements

    • Diploma in any related fields.
    • 2 or 3 year of working experience in related fields.
