    Description

    Regulatory Affairs Executive (Food)

    Your day-to-day revolves around:

    • Interpret regulatory rules or rule changes and ensure they are communicated through corporate policies and procedures.
    • Communicate with regulatory authorities and importers regarding pre-submission strategies, potential regulatory pathways, compliance test requirements, or clarification and follow-up of submissions under review.
    • Prepare documents submission for product registration (Food & Beverages) and Halal application with competent authorities within SEA countries.
    • Monitor product registration (Food & Beverages) & Halal application status and ensure the validity of registrations.
    • Maintaining registration certificates for product sales and marketing according to local regulations.
    • Maintain awareness of new legislation, policies & guidelines impacting the assigned product portfolio.
    • Review product formulation for food & beverages, specification for regulatory compliances product packaging/labels and marketing materials to ensure regulatory compliance
    • Continuous review and improvement of processes within the Malaysia Regulatory Affairs department for submission.
    • Timely compile documents for licence renewal, registration, and update.
    • Compile and maintain systematic filling of the product registration dossier.
    • Any other tasks assigned from time to time.

    Criteria:

    • Candidate must possess at least a diploma in science (preferably in Food Technology/Food Science/Nutrition)
    • At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the F&B/FMCG/Food & Beverage Manufacturing field.
    • Preferably executive specializing in Food Act, Food Law, FSSC 22000, HACCP, GMP and regulations related to MS1500:2019, Malaysian Halal Standard, and Akta Perihal Dagangan 2011
    • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Experience with MOH, BKKM, Custom, KPDN and internal stakeholders would be an added advantage.
    • Those with experience working with SEA countries' regulations (Food & Beverages) are a plus.
    • A good command of spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia.
    • High attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
    • Able to work under pressure and with minimal supervision.
