    Job Description

    In your new role you will:
    • Initiate/lead yield/DD and quality improvement programs
    • Digital image analysis and advanced analytics for wafer level characterization of crystal defects and surface quality
    • Design, test, and validate image analysis algorithms based on deep learning
    • Support R&D metrology/PMX engineers to advance characterization effortsusing various analytical techniques such as Photoluminescence, X Ray,optical imaging,
    • WBG specific technology and defect mechanisms competency training/development
    • Perform DOE by following Six Sigma standards and evaluate substrate materials with reference to crystal growth related defects and their relationship with reference to device yield engineering.
    • Support DD and quality improvement within the scope of technology ownership
    • Ensure quality and reliability of delivered products meeting IFX quality standard (Lot assessment/FMEA/substrate Material Decision Matrix)
    • New product releases, production ramp and technology transfers in termsof DD control strategies.
    • Owner of Substrate originated defects Engineering and SiC/GaN Epitaxy process induced defects , deriving process improvement by implementing various Design of Experiments.
    • Change Harmonization and synergize between ref site and Receiving site.

    Your Profile

    You are best equipped for this task if you have:
    • Bachelor or Master Degree in Physics, Materials science, computer science, electrical, electronics or other engineering with background in image analysis, substrate defects, Epitaxy defects study and machine learning.
    • Experience with complex data/image analysis using combination of Phython, JMP, Excel, Matlab, Tableau or other data analysis tools,
    • Experience with application of machine learning tools for image analysis and feature identification
    • Background in crystal defect engineering is desirable.
