As an Infrastructure Delivery Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing the technical infrastructure deployment for on-premises and cloud environments, supporting application development for both Run and Demand projects. Your proactive and agile approach to project delivery is vital, ensuring that infrastructure resources, such as data center rack space, cabling, and computing resources, are provisioned promptly. Your primary focus will be on ensuring program management adheres to the highest standards, delivering projects swiftly and aligning with client-side business requirements.

The Role

The Infrastructure Delivery Manager responsibility is to provide leadership in managing technical infrastructure deployment and ensures the required infrastructure resources for on-premises and cloud end to end (Example DC rack space, cabling, and computing resources) are provisioned timely to support the application development of Run and Demand projects.This role demands proactive and agile in executing project delivery. The candidate will have to perform scope, schedule, risks, configuration, communication, issue escalation, budget, quality, delivery resources and people with the objective of ensuring program management of highest standards and always be closing projects as fast as possible. Good understands client side business requirements and provide value led solutions. Candidate should have strong and clear verbal and written communication skills including addressing escalations, presenting status in management meetings.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Client management experience by contributing to infra delivery development and goals specified in the project charter.
• Single point of contact responsible for the support all technical infrastructure delivery for application projects, dotted line reporting to the ITPM for projects specific.
• Ensures all infrastructure delivery as specified in the BoM, design document are being met by evaluating the ongoing effectiveness of current environment, proposed solution and aligning to the organisation security framework.
• Must have proven experience in managing large Contract and vendor management by identifying the contract parameters that have material impact to program deliveries. Build formal and informal partnerships in order to ensure program dependencies are coordinated and executed and economic objectives of the contracted program are met
• Accountable for coordination, status reporting and ensure the technical infrastructure and system resources all are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high quality standards and meet project teams' expectations.
• Responsible for tracking key project milestones and adjusting project plans and/or resources to meet the needs of project team, adhering to governance and security policies.
• Coordinates communication with all areas of the enterprise that impact the scope, budget, risk, and resources of the work effort being managed.
• Excellent vendor management.
• Exposure to multi-vendor & multi-cultural IT infrastructure delivery.
• Takes accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate the risks.
• Maintains awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company.
• Highlights any potential concerns /risks and proactively shares best risk management practices.

Ideal Profile

Requirements

• Typically has minimum of 10 years of IT delivery and client experience in a structured project management culture environment. Familiarity with multiple types of Networks, UNIX and Windows servers and associated operating systems and Data Center resources provisioning (eg port mapping and cabling requirements, VM resources) and good experience with network infrastructure technologies.
• Technical skills with industry certification is a plus. (Cloud technologies, Data Center, Redhat, VMWare in specifics)
• Have experience working in FSI, showing good security and knowledge in executing work.
• Has a good aptitude to foster good communication and managed well in relationship.
• Able to accept to work in a Vendor to Client environment.
• Ability to work in highly process driven and outsourced work environment.
• Must possess Agile skillset and navigate around challenges.
• Professional experience facilitating cross-functional team efforts.
