  • What you can expect:

  • Your main task will be to technically qualify new business opportunities in-house, on-site or online with technical feasibility study on customer samples and recommend the right 3D sensor product.
  • Provide the best '3D solution advice' to our customers with advanced technical feasibility studies by developing GUI or console-based application software.
  • Your role will be to develop software code for custom applications based on third party vision metrology software tools.
  • To ensure a high level of customer satisfaction, you will build relationships and trust with customers.
  • What to bring:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or comparable qualification
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in an Application Engineer role in the 3D Machine Vision and/or Metrology industry.
  • A minimum of 4-5+ years' experience in software programming using C#, C++, Python
  • At least 3+ years of experience in the development of applications based on machine vision and/or metrology software, in particular working experience with VisionPro, Halcon, OpenCV, PCL library.
  • Very good knowledge of English
  • Willingness for travel within Malaysia and SEA region
  • Own transport and driving licence
