    About The Role

    To process, approve and ensure payment is paid accurately and timely to Provider within the turnaround time set and continuous improvement of work process to achieve operational excellence contributing to division's KPI.

    Roles And Responsibilities

    • Receive, screen and direct incoming calls, visitors, mail and email
    • Maintain files and records of applications.
    • Use business software applications such as word processing, presentation and spreadsheet to prepare correspondence, reports, presentations, agendas and minutes
    • Ensure claim recommendation and extraction for payment done on daily basis
    • Extraction of normal & failed claim for uploading into system
    • Update PET and PVT table daily inclusive of weekend or Public Holiday where vital.
    • Raise questionable claims to the direct supervisor / medical advisory officers (if required)
    • Making decision on approving or denying claims to Provider in accordance with member's benefit entitlement
    • Ensure claims are processed within the specified turnaround time.
    • Ensure confidentiality of all claims information, inclusive of claims guidelines and internal controls.
    • Maintains quality customer services by responding to Provider enquiries on claim payment and bypass claim in Mediconnect portal.
    • Attend to policy on pending status daily
    • Accomplish organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to contribute to the organization.

    Minimum Job Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, in any field of study or with relevant background.
    • Minimum of 2 years working experience preferably in the insurance or medical industry.
    • Able to work in fast paced environment, independent, customer focused, result oriented & well-adapted.
    • Adaptable and able to work on own with minimal direction.
    • Ability to multi-task, plan optimally and meet deadlines.
    • Service oriented/customers focus with sense of urgency and practice prioritization and critical thinking in jobs.
    • Demonstrate good written and oral communication skills.
    • Good knowledge of using Microsoft Office and others software applications especially reporting tools.
    • Able to adapt in the face of constant changes in the organization
    • Good analytical, innovative and good in problem solving skill, ability to exercise judgment and take initiative to make decision and resolve problem(s).
    • Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills are required with emphasis on achieving results and successful outcomes
