The Digital Hub Kuala Lumpur is one of our global key locations to deliver regional and global solutions for BASF.

    Within our team we ensure that changes are rolled out to our SAP multi-instance core system landscape in a high quality by providing release, implementation, and test management from demand to deploy to our BASF internal stakeholders. Our product team provides and continuously develops our main software product SAP Solution Manager platform and test automation tools. We are eager to try out new technologies on our strategic SAP ALM cloud journey.

    Responsibilities & Key Outcomes:

  • You will develop Rest APIs/APIGEE between SolMan and other applications.
  • You will create technical designs and write efficient, reusable, testable and scalable code.
  • You will be responsible for configurations, modifications and functionalities in Solution Manager ChaRM, Change Control Mgmt., CRM and Test Suite Fiori
  • You will analyze, identify, and resolve software issues.
  • You will actively drive innovations and enhancements of SolMan framework.
  • You document technical knowledge in the form of notes and manuals.
  • You maintain and automate test activities on regular basis to ensure secure and stable systems.
  • Technical & Professional Knowledge (mandatory):

  • High proficiency in developing Rest APIs/APIGEE is a must
  • Extended knowledge in SAP FIORI / SAP UI5 developments and the corresponding architecture concepts
  • Experience in CRM Web UI development
  • Basic database knowledge (experience in Python library Pandas is a plus)
  • Experience in Solution Manager, managing ChaRM/Test Suite functionality, CRM and the overall Enhancement Framework of Solution Manager is a plus
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issues
  • Ability to develop technical design based on customer needs
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Experience working in a global collaborative environment and promoting an agile teamwork mentality.
  • Good communication skills (written and oral) in English preferred
  • Education & Years of Work Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree with focus on information technology (IT) or computer science
  • 5years+ of work experience as ABAP/python developer
