    Description

    Responsibilities:

  • Proficient hands-on experience in implementing A2A and B2B solutions using IDOC, RFC, JDBC, File, ABAP Proxy, SOAP, HTTP, REST, SFTP, and JMS adapters, including UDFs coding, development of PI adapter modules & ECC/CRM ABAP enhancements. JAVA skills are a plus.
  • Proficiency in developing integration scenarios and interfaces using SAP PO. This includes designing and configuring communication channels, mappings, and message flows within SAP PO.
  • Strong knowledge of integration technologies such as XML, XSLT, SOAP, REST, JSON, and relevant protocols (HTTP, FTP, SFTP, etc.). Understanding how to work with different data formats and transforming data between systems.
  • Experience in configuring and utilizing various adapters available in SAP PO, such as SOAP, REST, IDoc, RFC, JDBC, SFTP, JMS, and File. Understanding how to establish connections with different systems and handle message exchange
  • Proficiency in using SAP PO's mapping capabilities, including graphical mapping tools like the Graphical Mapping Editor. Ability to transform data structures, perform field-level mappings, and apply data validation and enrichment during the mapping process.
  • Knowledge of securing integration scenarios using encryption, digital signatures, and other security mechanisms. Understanding authentication protocols like SAML, OAuth, SSL, and how to configure them in SAP PO.
  • Providing technical support for SAP PI/PO systems, troubleshooting integration issues, and ensuring system reliability.
  • Working closely with business analysts, developers, and other stakeholders to understand integration needs and deliver effective solutions.
  • Documenting integration processes, configurations, and custom developments for future reference and knowledge sharing.
  • Managing upgrades of SAP PI/PO systems and implementing enhancements to improve integration efficiency.
  • Identifying and implementing optimizations to enhance the performance of integration processes.
  • Monitoring system performance, maintaining interfaces, and addressing any issues to ensure smooth operations.
  • Providing training to end-users and other team members on SAP PI/PO functionalities.
  • Keeping up-to-date with SAP PI/PO advancements and industry best practices to continuously improve integration solutions.
  • Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in information systems, computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent
  • Experience with PO 7.5 version
  • More than one to five years' experience in SAP PI/PO
  • Minimum of two full lifecycles of SAP PI/PO implementations, management and support
  • Experience with IDOC processing in ERP system and SAP business processes knowledge
  • Being able to write UDFs/modify them
  • Being able to write XSLTs/modify them
  • Verbal and written communication skills are key, especially when dealing with customers and project team members
  • Positive work attitude and able to work independently in a dynamic team environment
