    Job Summary:

    To plan, direct and co-ordinate the activities of the department in ensuring department objective and key results are met through the effective utilization of resources with the ultimate goal of total customer satisfaction.

    Job Responsibilities

    • To plan, direct and co-ordinate the activities of the department in ensuring department objective and key results are met through the effective utilization of resources with the ultimate goal of total customer satisfaction.
    • Motivation of subordinates towards self-improvement and better job performance
    • To lead, direct, plan and supervise the department activities to achieve the company set goals and objectives.
    • Continuously seek to improve the work method effectiveness, work environment and resource utilization through proactive planning and implementation of new improvement programs with constant review and upgrading of existing system to ensure area improvement.
    • To assure the achievement of company objectives through the proper selection, development, training, coaching and motivation of subordinates.
    • To support new product transfer from development qualification and mass production stage implementation.
    • To disseminate company key focus and information to subordinates to create alignment within the whole organization.
    • To follow environmental procedures in carrying out daily activities and ensure that activities carry out by good self and subordinates comply with company environmental objectives.
    • Highlight to superior any activities in the company that may be contrary to the environment policy.
    • To fully understand and comply to company's code of ethics and business conduct.
    • To understand, communicate and implement the social compliance policy as stated in the 'Principles Of Business Conduct'.
    • To ensure the EMS requirement are established, implemented and maintained according to ISO 14001 standard.
    • Responsible to promote EMS awareness among employees and staffs.

    Job Qualifications:

    • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management or equivalent.
    • Required language(s): English, Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia.
    • At least 10 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
    • Preferably Manager specialized in Logistics/Supply Chain/Planning/Purchasing or equivalent.
    • Master in overall Planning & Purchasing System and process to suit to business processes
    • Good in Business Planning to maintain and fulfill customer order
    • Familiar with government rules such as Custom Malaysia
    • Master in inventory system for all type of materials (direct, indirect materials, accessories etc)
    • Knowledge in Physical Count and reconciliation
    • Analytical thinking and effective problem solving
    • Familiar with Code of Conduct and Code of Interest
    • Good in negotiation, communication & interpersonal skills
    • Possess leadership skill to coach and guide subordinates as well as managing the department
    • Able to formulate, evaluate and propose short, medium and long term strategy to attain company's goal and objective
    • Able to convey and get buy in on goals and expectations
    • Full Time position base in Bayan Lepas, Pulau Pinang, Malaysia
