    Description
    Position Overview:
    We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a MUREX Applications Maintenance and Support Engineer. The ideal candidate should possess expertise in SQL, Java, and Python, with a strong command of Linux operating systems. Proficiency in managing AIX, Solaris, and Open systems is essential for success in this role.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • MUREX Applications Support: Provide comprehensive support for MUREX applications, ensuring their smooth functioning and resolving any issues that may arise.
    • Database Management: Utilize SQL to manage and maintain databases, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
    • Programming Proficiency: Demonstrate proficiency in Java and Python to develop, customize, and enhance MUREX applications as per business requirements.
    • Operating System Expertise: Manage and troubleshoot MUREX applications on various operating systems, including AIX, Solaris, and Open systems.
    • Collaborative Problem Solving: Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify, analyze, and resolve technical issues related to MUREX applications.
    • Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation of application configurations, issues, and resolutions for future reference.
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
    • Proven experience in supporting and maintaining MUREX applications.
    • Strong proficiency in SQL, Java, Python, and Linux.
    • Familiarity with AIX, Solaris, and Open systems.
    • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
    • Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
    • Mandatory: Malaysian Citizenship
