    About the Department

    The Credit and Risk Management function is comprised of three teams: Risk Management, Credit and Special Asset Management. We manage the risks arising from the Group's business activities within the risk appetite established by the Board. This involves identifying and evaluating the risks, developing effective risk governance and strategies as well as providing independent assessment of the overall risk profile.

    Job Responsibilities

  • Assess applicant's creditworthiness and approve unsecured loan applications in accordance to the Bank's credit policies and guidelines.
  • Ensure applications are processed within turnaround time.
  • Liaising with relevant parties and attend enquiries related to credit applications.
  • To contribute ideas for work improvement initiatives in achieving better work quality and higher productivity.
  • Provide necessary guidance and training to team members.
  • Handling ad-hoc assignments as and when required.
  • Job Requirements

  • Must possess Bachelor's Degree with at least 3 to 5 years working experience as credit approver.
  • Candidate with Professional Credit Certification (PCC) or Certified Credit Professional (CCP) has added advantage.
  • Good analytical skills with strong verbal and written communication skills (English).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point.
  • High commitment, fast learner and able to work under pressure.
