    Description
    • Lead the financial and management reporting team, ensuring deliverables are prepared timely and complied with relevant regulatory requirements;
    • Supervise and allocate tasks for continuous improvement in financial and management reporting processes;
    • Responsible for quarterly/annual reporting, including audited financial statements and submission to regulatory bodies;
    • Coordinate, capture and produce financial information/report to support decision making;
    • Drive the preparation and review of budget, including analysis to explain the financial performance;
    • Collaborate with key stakeholders in the development, implementation and reporting mechanism of the Company's ESG framework;
    • Support the implementation of new accounting standards/processes or taxation related requirements such as tax planning;
    • Formulate and enhance standard operating procedures to identify hidden risk or non-compliance;
    • Coach the team members, providing guidance to achieve their key performance indicators;
    • Provide support on operational matters and any other ad-hoc projects as and when necessary;
    • Handle the secretarial matters.

    Requirements:

    • Possess a Degree in Accounting/Finance and Professional Qualification (ACCA/CPA/ICAEW/MICPA);
    • 5 year(s) of working experience in financial service industry (2 to 3 years in an established accounting firm preferred);
    • Strong knowledge of accounting standards, group consolidation, tax and ESG framework;
    • Experience in leading a team with good stakeholder management, quick to learn new concepts, able to work effectively with cross functional teams and independently;
    • Good written English, analytical skill and able to do presentations;
    • Knowledge on MFRS 9 Financial Instruments is preferred;
    • Proficient in documentation and able to translate complex business concepts into actionable recommendations;
    • A good team player, passionate, motivated, organised, detail oriented, analytical, able to evaluate and problem solve a variety of tasks to ensure timely completion;
    • Accept absolute responsibility for all tasks assigned;
    • Proven ability to drive process improvements and simplifications;
    • Familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
