    Description

    As an E&I Technician, you will contribute to the achievement of management-established goals and programs aimed at enhancing both plant maintenance and improvement. This role is situated at the Plentong Plant and involves working in two rotating shifts from 8 am to 8 pm and 8 pm to 8 am.

    Key responsibilities

  • Set-up, field/bench calibration and troubleshooting of temperature, pressure, flow, level, PH, conductivity analyzer and control valves.
  • Loop checking on centralized I/O PLC.
  • Commissioning on PLC I/O system.
  • I/O wiring and addressing systems, I/O cards test & change-out, processor change-out.
  • Standby during start-up on specific systems.
  • To restore the plant equipments to normal function after unplanned breakdown.
  • To be familiar to all production processes and procedure.
  • Electrical & Instrument system, offline / online inspection.
  • Responsible for efficient running of workshop and engineering stores.
  • Assist maintenance executive for electrical and Instrument spares order, reorder and stock control, maintain proper inventory at SAP system.
  • To make sure all the Work Order, permit to work, LOTO system was completed sign OFF and hand back to production before off duty on the day. Proper updated in the SAP system and filing the records are required.
  • To ensure plant spare motors record updated every month and available all the time for immediate replacement.
  • Ensure safety, GMP and good housekeeping in workshop and plants
  • Ensure good housekeeping and safety practice are carried out including 'Permit to Work System'.
  • Contribute to the maintenance and continuous improvement of the management systems of safety, ISO 14001, HACCP & GMP.
  • Qualifications and skills

  • Diploma in Electronic or Instrumentation or equivalent.
  • Minimum Certificate in Mechatronic.
  • Minimum Certificate of Competency as Wireman.
  • Five (5) years of experience in food/pharmaceutical/FMCG manufacturing.
  • Proficiency in site engineering requirements and preventive maintenance.
  • Strong analytical skills, problem-solving attitude, and excellent communication.
  • Experience in calibration, troubleshooting of plant instrumentation, and familiarity with Microsoft Office and related software.
