    Job Description:

    Tax

    ·Work with local advisors, responsible for all tax, payroll and statutory compliance of various APAC countries.

    ·Liaise with tax advisors on any new or changes to tax and other statutory requirements; and recommend action thereof. Keep up to date on laws changes via news release, webinar, seminar, etc.

    ·Ensure all corporate tax filing annually and other interim and quarterly filings including any provisional/estimates filing.

    ·Ensure all WHT filing done as required.

    ·Ensure all VAT filing as required.

    ·Ensure various tax filing such as property tax, transfer pricing, fringe benefits, etc.

    ·Ensure all tax refund are received promptly, with robust follow-up with tax advisors/authorities.

    ·Lead and manage tax audits including.

    oReview and provision of the required documents to the tax authorities.

    oReview and answer the tax queries to the tax authorities.

    oEnsure any other related matter are provided and follow up promptly to the tax authorities.

    ·Review tax provision to ensure accuracy.

    Payroll

    ·Review and approve payroll.

    ·Ensure employee annual income return and all other statutory returns are filed on time.

    Company Secretarial Matters

    ·Ensure Board of Directors and Shareholder meetings required by law are completed and filed on time.

    ·Ensure changes in Board members and Board members details (. address, passport number, and all other relevant changes, be reported and filed to statutory authorities.

    ·Ensure all other statutory returns and any secretarial matters are filed on time.

    Experience:

    ·Degree in Accountancy, preferably a licensed CPA.

    ·5 years relevant tax planning and compliance experience with professional firms and/or commercial industry.

    ·Strong oral and written communication skills, organizational and interpersonal skills.

    ·Able to work independently yet collaborate effectively with a multi-geographic team to communicate tax issues and initiatives.

    ·Preferably to have working knowledge of tax laws in various APAC jurisdictions.
