    THE OPPORTUNITY

    ASW's most trusted partner is seeking a System Engineer to join their excellent operation team in order to monitor and operate their large-scale system. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a 100-year-old insurance company with concrete relations with the government and corporates.

    A perfect match should also possess a strong fundamental as a system engineer and basic networking skill.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design, configure, deploy, and maintain applications, servers, storage, and network solutions, both on-premises and in the cloud.
  • Proactively work to improve reliability, stability, and security of the cloud and on-premises environments.
  • Perform troubleshooting, performance tuning and capacity planning.
  • Create and update technical documentation.
  • Work with other technology teams to deploy and maintain applications, including hardening and vulnerability remediation.
  • Strong scripting skills to implement automation wherever possible within implementation of technologies.
  • Research and evaluate new hardware and software solutions.
  • Carry out projects at Management's direction.
  • Interact with customers and staff at the technical level, as required.
  • Participation in Change Management process – submit, review, and implement changes to a production environment.
  • Demonstrate interpersonal skills, including the ability to negotiate and influence effectively e.g., system outages which impact customers and service levels.
  • Provide after-hours support for Infrastructure related emergencies as well as occasional weekend maintenance.
  • Other duties as assigned by Technical Delivery Manager

    • SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION

  • Bachelors / Masters degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience administering an Infrastructure at Enterprise level environment.
  • Certified in one or multiple technologies (or equivalent industry certification) below:
  • Microsoft 365 SuiteAzure Cloud SolutionManaging Microsoft TeamsWindows Server AdministrationComptia Security+Automated Administration with Windows PowerShellITIL certification V3 / V4
  • Expertise in Microsoft environments (AD, O365, GPO)
  • Strong knowledge of scripting.
  • Good knowledge of virtualization solutions (VMWare).
  • Excellent knowledge of English, written and spoken.
