    About the Department

    The Technology and Operations function is comprised of five teams of specialists with distinct capabilities: business partnership, technology, operations, risk governance and planning support and services. We work closely together to harness the power of technology to support our physical and digital banking services and operations. This includes developing, centralising and standardising technology systems as well as banking operations in Singapore and overseas branches.

    Job Responsibilities

    You will be part of the Wholesale Operational Readiness Centre that supports Trade systems. Your main objective is to ensure effective implementation of Technology changes, review & understand requirements from End user perspective, conduct effective User Acceptance Testing and to carry out other Operational Readiness activities.

    Your key responsibilities are:

  • Participate and contribute from operations and systems perspectives in trade products and services meetings with business and other stakeholders.
  • Bridge communication between key stakeholders including business, operations, technology teams and external vendor
  • Review the functional specifications and provide your input
  • Draw up test cases based on the sign off functional specification documents
  • Perform user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure technology deliverables are thoroughly tested and the expectations are met
  • All testing documentations are properly filed for future reference
  • Any other roles relating to Wholesale Operational Readiness activities as assigned by Management.
  • Job Requirements

    Skills/Technical Abilities

  • Practical knowledge of trade products (i.e. LC Issued/Import Bills/ Trust Receipts, Shipping Guarantee/Export LC Negotiation, Bankers Acceptance, Invoice Financing products) and its overall workflow and processes is a must
  • Good knowledge on testing practices and testing experience relevant to trade products processing.
  • Practical knowledge on the TOSCA or Selenium automation testing tools would be an advantage
  • Effective communication with good writing and presentation skills
  • Strong organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
  • Work Experience

  • Have 3-5 years working experience in trade user acceptance testing
  • Poses systems and operational knowledge and experience in the mechanics of trade products and operations
  • Have relevant trade testing experience though not in banking can still be considered
  • Those with experience in supporting trade system but no testing experience can also be considered
