    Description

    Hi everyone,

    We are currently hiring for Talend Developer for one of our clients in Malaysia.

    Candidates willing to relocate to Malaysia should apply.

    Visa and relocation allowance will be provided.

    Responsibilities:

    • Design, develop, and implement ETL workflows using Talend Open Studio for Data Integration to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into PostgreSQL databases.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications for ETL workflows.
    • Develop custom data transformations and mappings to ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency across different systems.
    • Utilize Unix/Linux shell scripting for automation of ETL processes, file manipulation, and system administration tasks.
    • Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading operations in PostgreSQL databases.
    • Develop and maintain Python scripts to support ETL tasks, data cleansing, and data validation procedures.
    • Perform data profiling, analysis, and troubleshooting to identify and resolve data quality issues and performance bottlenecks.
    • Implement best practices for version control, deployment, and monitoring of ETL jobs in development, testing, and production environments.
    • Work closely with data architects and modelers to understand data structures, relationships, and business rules, ensuring alignment with data models and standards.
    • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in ETL development and data integration within the banking domain.

    Qualifications:

    • 5-8 years of hands-on experience in ETL development, with proficiency in Talend, PostgreSQL, Unix/Linux, and Python.
    • Strong understanding of data modelling principles, relational databases, and SQL query optimization techniques.
    • Experience working in the banking or financial services industry, with knowledge of banking processes, products, and regulatory requirements.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex ETL issues and optimize performance.
    • Solid understanding of Unix/Linux operating systems, shell scripting, and command-line tools for system administration and automation.
    • Proficiency in Python programming for data manipulation, scripting, and automation tasks.
