- Deliver substantial IT Projects & technology solutions to achieve good business outcomes that are completed on time, within budget and with quality.
- Focuses on developing user-centred solutions.
- Owns the product vision and roadmap for digital products in the portfolio.
- Ensure the product's technical features or parameters meet business requirements in terms of quality, functionality, ease of implementation and user persona. The Product Manager has a 'user perspective' to ensure the product solves the user's problems better than any other solution in the market.
- Ensure the product's specifications and warranties comply with the requisite standards (domestic and international), and are aligned with the Bank's infrastructure and software architecture and cyber security requirements. The Product Manager is responsible for the product strategy and roadmap.
- Ensure that the long-term development and maintenance costs are reasonable, and only necessary services or maintenance are procured for effective cost management. The Product Manager must work with internal and external development teams.
- Plan external communication about the value of the product, and articulate product differentiation to increase adoption rate. The Product Manager must help users in adopting and using the product as intended.
- Plan and implement the launch of new products or versions, including managing awareness sessions and responding to queries. The Product Manager is responsible for new market insights for the product being introduced or upgraded.
- Keep abreast of new technology developments to identify opportunities for migrating to better technology, and to ensure the Bank is well informed of changes in the product landscape. The Product Manager is responsible for mitigating obsolescence.

Leads the product throughout its entire lifecycle, from conception to retirement, so that it best addresses the business case in terms of outcomes, costs, timing and risk management.

Academic Qualifications:
A degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
Licence / Certification:

Experience:
a) Minimum 3-5 years experience as a project or product manager for IT software development or IT infrastructure projects
b) Knowledge in System Development Life Cycle [SDLC] methodology and experience in performing the system development
processes within the SDLC.
